For the background, the ISO used was 100, the shutter speed was 1/160, and the aperture was F/9.0.
For the image including my cousin, I used ISO 100, shutter speed was 1/160, and the aperture was F/9.0.
The compositional elements I chose were cropping and negative space. I was able to use cropping by removing any unnessecary objects or people around the main focal point. This left my cousin being the main focus. Second, negative space is another element I feel I portrayed very well.
I do believe that I was very successful translating my thoughts into a visual form. While brainstorming, I thought of the idea of bringing my younger cousin to a beach in a flowy dress while holding balloons. In conclusion, I was able to capture what I had in mind into reality.
If I did this project again, I would choose a different location. The beach was what I had in mind, but my cousins began to get cold as the ocean gave off a cold breeze. I would've also made it look more like she was floating because it still seems as if she is standing on something.
