1) What object did you choose to photograph and why?
The object I preferred to photograph was my stuffed teddy bear. I chose this because it has a lot of sentimental significance to me. My father bought it for me halfway through my mother's pregnancy. He wanted this to be a toy that would produce much value and hold countless memories. I've had this bear for the past fifteen years and it will eternally be a close object to my heart.
2) What compositional element(s) did you choose? How did the compositional element(s) add to the meaning or purpose of the photograph?
The compositional elements I decided to use for this project were repetition and patterns. An example of this is the fence behind the bear. I liked this element because it certainly made the bear stand out.
3) Do you think you were successful in translating your thoughts into a visual form? What aspects of the photograph lead you to this conclusion?
Being able to translate your feelings whether it is a photo, post, message, or anything, is never simple to do. Photos embrace a narrative whether it is negative or positive. Being a new photographer is not easy, yet I believe that I was transcendent in representing my feelings in a visual form. The photo I took was one of many and this one, in particular, stood out to me. The actions I performed to produce this image reveal who I am and it came out in the photo as well.
4) What would you do differently if you did it again? / What would make it better?
If I were to take another photo applying a compositional element, I would consider the position of where I would desire to take the photo and the best time throughout the day. Exceptional lighting would surely make the image stand out and will make it look admirable.
