My name is Sophia Rangel. I am a sixteen-year-old sophomore in the Bay Area. My desire for photography grew as I was inspired by the work of others. I wanted to be able to create and capture a story within a photo and share it with others. I admire being able to create a vision that gives the observer a feel as if they are stepping into another world. Some other interests I have include playing volleyball and listening to music. I've played club volleyball for six years and throughout those years, I've traveled to numerous states to compete in the Girls' Junior Olympics.
As a child, I enjoyed writing, drawing, and anything that included being outdoors. My parents wanted to capture as many memories of me as a child. Throughout the rest of my childhood years, more and more memories were created. I wanted to be able to create memories for others and create an emotional piece for them.
